2013 Universiade Bidding Period Closed!

FISU has officially closed the bidding period for the 2013 Universiades. Threecities have officially entered their candidature for the Summer universiade 2013, and there is one candidature for the Winter universiade 2013.

2013 Summer Universiade
- Gwangju, Korea
- Kazan, Russian Federation
- Vigo, Spain

2013 Winter Universiade
- Maribor, Slovenia

The following weeks FISU Evaluation Committees will travel to the candidate cities for inspection visits. The final decision to attribute the 2013 Universiades will be taken in Brussels, Belgium on May 31st.
