The Opening Ceremony was held on the open air in the City Centre in the presence of more than 1,000 spectators. Mr. Otmar Kugovnik, the President of SUSA and Mr. Phil Attwell, EUSA EC Representative welcomed the participants and opened the Championship.
After a number of quality matches, the title of the Champions went to the Dniepropetrovsk State Finance Academy (UKR), who won in the finals the University of Zagreb (CRO) with 3:1. The bronze medallist was decided after penalties. The title for Fair Play went to the University of Munster (GER). The best scorer was Stephan Boos from the University of Zurich (SUI).
